Reshaping Modernity - O'Connell Bridge

David Earl is delighted to announce his inclusion in the 179th Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition 2009. One of the key bodies in the history of Irish Art, the RHA was founded in 1823 along the lines of the London Royal Academy and is one of the leading Irish Art organisations, dedicated to developing and strengthening public awareness of and appreciation for both traditional and more modern approaches to the visual arts. Over the past 185 years, it’s educational and exhibition programs have made an enormous contribution to Ireland’s fine arts heritage. The list of members and former member of the Royal Hibernian Academy, is nothing less than a Who’s Who of famous Irish Artists. The exhibition opened to the public on Tuesday 26th May and runs to 25th July 2009.

Royal Dublin Society Student Arts Awards National Exhibition

Over the summer of 2008, some of David’s pieces from Reshaping Modernity were included in the Royal Dublin Society Student Arts Awards National Exhibition, showcasing at the RDS Dublin, and later travelling Ireland over the summer months.

The RDS Student Arts Awards attract the best works from students attending Art Colleges all over Ireland. Every art form features in the exhibition from calligraphy to woodwork, charcoal to watercolour and of course Photography.
